Wythe Hotel Penthouse Wedding

Intimate Wedding

With fantastic views of Manhattan and the East River, the Wythe Hotel penthouse offers a stunning option for intimate weddings in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The hotel can accommodate up to 25 people in the loft and terrace or 26-50 guests combined with their Cellar Dining Room. The terrace for the penthouse is on the floor above and is connected with a staircase, therefore I don’t believe it would be handicap accessible. In addition, they also have event spaces for larger weddings and accommodations. Learn more about having a wedding at the Wythe Hotel Penthouse here.

Williamsburg Brooklyn Weddings

The Williamsburg area offers interesting urban landscapes and waterfront views all around the hotel. The industrial architecture makes for interesting backgrounds and textures for your wedding portraits. Additionally, the Greenpoint neighborhood nearby offers more locations. Identifying portraits for this wedding, are private. If you’d like to see some of the neighborhood, see my Brooklyn Changing project here. (It includes a pre Wythe Hotel photo of the building)

When to Get Married at the Wythe Hotel

The Wythe Hotel penthouse is a great option for weddings anytime of the year. However, you will be able to take advantage of the portrait locations during the more mild times of the year. Consequently, the waterfront area can be very windy during the winter, not to mention cold. The peak summer times of July and August are almost equally challenging. Given the great location, it is easy to take breaks to cool off or warm-up. Furthermore, is important to note, that the hotel is not allowing photos in their common spaces. They limit access to the spaces you are using and outdoors.

Finally, this wedding came together beautifully with these creative partners! The Penthouse Loft is a fairly blank space with lots of windows. You can really design how you like without worrying about clashing with the space’s design.
