L&N’s Pratt House wedding will have you thinking of cozy fireplaces, good friends and velvet shoes! The wedding day starts off at the Lowe’s Regency a few blocks away. Lucy of Miss Harlequin and her team are present to make-over the bride and certainly her maids. Can we take a moment to talk about the bride’s gorgeous bejeweled blue velvet Manolos? The perfect winter wedding shoes.
The bride descends the mansion’s magnificent staircase for the first look. Next, we venture to Central Park for portraits in the fading sun along the Bethesda Terrace and Mall. It was getting cold so so our driver returns us to the venue for a bit of rest. We then take family portraits in the mansion’s library. It is a cool as it sounds!
Most noteworthy is when the flower girl has a bit of trouble walking down the aisle alone. Our handsome groom cones to the rescue and helps her out! After the ceremony and some photos outside the Pratt House, everyone sits down to a beautiful dinner. The white flowers, calligraphy table numbers and gold-trimmed place settings were understated and elegant. The speeches are delivered, the Champagne glasses emptied and finally, the Silver Arrow Band opens the dance floor. Following a lively first dance, the party continues until late.
