The first look was held at Elevated Acres and then everyone took the ferry to Governors Island. The ceremony was officiated by Officiant NY at the Admiral’s House. The wedding itself went according to plan, with one little issue, it rained almost the entire time. It was just one of those early summer storms that poured a steady rain all afternoon making their wedding one I know the guests will never forget!

Imagine riding surries all over the island in the rain, it was quite an adventure. After touring the island and stopping for snacks and photos with the Statue of Liberty, everyone boarded the ferry back to Manhattan.

After the rain, Il Buco wine cellar is the perfect place to warm up over appetizers and dinner. The private cellar was a cozy ending with an array of Italian appetizers and of course, wine.

If you are looking for another Italian private dining location, consider L’Artusi Supper Club.
