You could not have asked for a more perfect late summer wedding on the banks of the Hudson River. The couple was married at the Wainwright House in September in an outdoor ceremony adorned by a arch from Violet and Verde overlooking the river. The historic house and gardens offers many lovely settings for photos. The sunset with boats on the river was just amazing and I couldn’t resist having the couple stand for a few silhouetted shots before the reception. Following dinner and speeches in the tent, dancing continued in the house. Dessert included many specialties brought from Japan by the bride. At the end of the night in a truly dramatic fashion, the couple waving flags from their respective countries, exited through sparklers to a waiting Rolls Royce. A grand end to a spectacular day!
